22 Years of Professional Photography across the World

 

 

Shaun's passion for photography started when he was only 13 years of age studying GCSE Photography taught by Mr Brian Martin at Ely College. a great teacher who encouraged him to pursue a career in photography. He then spent two full years studying City & Guilds and A-Level Photography learning all the technical aspects of photography. after passing with flying colours he then cruised the world working in photography on luxury cruise liners. Photographs were take at Captains cocktail parties, Gala Dinners, on-board weddings, shore side excursions, every single day onboard he captured the magic of the cruise to provide the guests with a life long memory of their holiday. Shaun soon worked his way up through the photographic hierarchy and became the On-board Photo Manager and worked on more than ten luxury cruise liners over a period of seven years, seeing lots of the world.

Shaun gained lots of photography and business experience working aboard as a photographic manager so when he came home he couldn't wait to put that experience to use photographing weddings, portraits and events mainly around the UK, and still likes the odd photo shoot further afield.

The most rewarding part of Shaun's profession is, capturing people enjoying themselves and providing them with a lifetime of memories. Having lived through so many great experiences himself, he completely understand the importance of being able to look back at photographs and remembering those fantastic times. Especially photographing someone's wedding and seeing the joy within the brides smile and the proud look in the grooms eyes, it is something he'll always be elated by.

Shaun uses the best photographic equipments and attends numerous photographic seminars from world famous photographers to insure he stays ahead in the fast moving world of digital photography and contemporary shooting styles. he's also a member of the two professional photographic associations that provide photographic and business support.
