I've
absolutely loved my whole photography experience from
cruising the world to modern contemporary weddings.
To Capture people enjoying themselves
and providing them with lifetime memories is the most
rewarding part of my profession. Through living many great
experiences myself, I completely understand the importance
of being able to look back on the photographs of fantastic
times. Especially photographing someone's wedding seeing the
Joy in the Brides smile and the proud look in the groom’s
eyes is something I'll always be excited and passionate
about capturing.
My photography experience started 13
years old studying GCSE photography with Mr Brian Martin who
was a great teacher and also encouraged me to pursue a
career in photography, I then spent two full years studying
City & Guilds and A-level Photography, at this point my
thoughts were to either go onto university or become a
photographer on cruise liners. I couldn’t resist travelling
the world so soon as I passed my photography exams it wasn’t
long before I flew to Greece to join my first cruise liner.
I couldn’t believe how drastically my life had changed and
how lucky I was to be living such a cool life. We took
photographs from Beach Parties to Onboard weddings. I soon
worked my way up through the photographic positions to
become onboard Photo Manager working on over ten Luxury
cruise liners over a period of seven years.
All through my photography career I’ve
continuously updated my knowledge by attending various
training seminars by world famous photographers. This
enables me to stay ahead of the fast moving world of digital
photography and contemporary shooting styles. I’m a member
of the two professional photographic associations The MPA &
The SWPP, they’re both very good for keeping photographers
ahead of the game.
I now photograph Weddings, Portraits
and Events in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk & Norfolk. and also
photograph for ‘Ede and Ravenscroft’
one of the largest suppliers of Graduation Portraiture in
the UK and ‘Eaden Lilley’ the Leading Cambridge University
photographers.
